Off to a fresh start.
I have long enjoyed writing. Ten years ago, I introduced a weekly blog that discussed my family history. Within a few months, hundreds of followers communicated with me weekly asking to know more. It seems people like reading about family drama.
My focus is about helping people understand signs so that they can make the best invest possible. The level of interest however seems to be very low.
In March, I will begin writing weekly again. What I write about will depend on what people tell me that they are interested in. I am considering the following:
1. My journey through the sign industry. Having had employees killed in drug deals. Rehabilitation at the expense of profits. The struggles that a small husband and wife business face daily.
2. The sign industry today. What impacts the final cost that you are quoted. Sign Associations impact on the industry. Endorsements; good or just another cost factor. Why signs companies need $150.00 an hour to dig a hole for you.
3. Fallen trees and their nuts. Years ago, most sign painters needed to be within reach of a high impact beverage of choice. The industry was full of left brained, free spirited, brush yielding sign artists. There was the other side of engineers and business savy shop owners. Who runs the industry today and what happened to the shop that closed to drink from twelve to five?
4. Where are the solar powered signs? If we are going to get green, why is the sign industry not onboard?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone that might have an interest in any of the mentioned blog subjects.
